About the course

The Essentials of Management Consulting (EMC) focuses on the three core consulting competencies: Assessing the client's current situation, understanding business challenges, and identifying opportunities; Developing strategies for the client's growth and development; and Advising on change management processes while implementing recommendations. The course also reviews fundamentals required of a successful Certified Management Consultant (CMC), including project management, tools, and techniques for each stage of the consulting process, and an opportunity to work in small peer groups to experience a modern case study simulating a real consulting process. Guided by one of our certified Instructors, the class begins by reviewing the overall consulting process with days 2 through 6 diving into each phase while learners put their skills into practice in a simulated case study exercise.
